Lighthouse Journey and Mysteries

About the Journey of Light

Light in all it’s incarnations fascinates me.  Whether the light is a lighthouse, fire, sunrise, it has a significance and attraction of its own.  Light is both an objective material manifestation which can be measured and recorded and a subjective representation of knowledge or spiritual enlightenment. This blog site will explore my many musings… usually of light.  Prepare to see a lot of sunrises.

Round Island Lighthouse shines in Lake Huron

Susan’s Journey

This photo of Round Island Lighthouse sums up my view of life. The light shines even as the storms roll in. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says “Give thanks in all circumstances”.  Philippians 4:4 says “Rejoice in the Lord always”.  Together, these two verses have formed who I am.  I learned to take the bad with the good and to rejoice always in it all, trusting that there is a purpose.
